Brunch, High Teas and Birthdays!

This is suppose to be a November post... but well.. I am kind of busy...

I am forever surfing the net, looking for good food and nice hang out place.
Then I saw this website and there we go...

The place is called rider's cafe.
It is at Fairways Drive. A place where you can see horses while enjoying your meal.

Qiqi got up late, thus we missed the breakfast menu.

Upon reaching the place, I was like..

'ei ei.. look, na li you yi zhi ma...'

Then when we are at the parking lot,

'Oh, na li you yi liang ma' 

coz there's a Ferrari! LOL!

Lotsa ang moh there.. anyway, we gotta act being ATAS ppl sometimes!

Ordered some grilled chicken sandwiches, Rider's burger, lobster bisque and mushroom soup to share.

After our heavy breakfast/brunch, we got nowhere to go... In the end we go shop around orchard.. Till its time to meet the rest of the people..

Heavy traffic toward Plaza Singapura.. Think we took almost 20 mins to get there from Lucky Plaza.

Looking for a parking lot is real difficult that day..

Went to Lao Beijing to meet the rest. The 3 of us were still full but we still eat.. haha.. the food there was so-so only.. The high tea cost less than $20 but... hmm.. I don think i will ever go there again.

After High Tea, they wanted to catch 2012, but tickets were sold out. Thank god, coz  I don't really wanna watch that movie. So we end up taking a pic there.

 

 

No movies.. so.. after much discussion... I t's Dynasty KTV again..

We were given a big room with strong cigarette's smell... Clara took some air freshener from somewhere and spray a bit too much till we were almost intoxicated!

After our dinner, we walked around Orchard, being young n hippie, we do not want to go back that early as the night is still young~

We walked around, thinking of where to go.. and we finally decided on Hard Rock Cafe a.k.a 'Ying Shi Tou'.

The live band was good... The singer pass the microphone to a kiddo when she sand pokerface.. and the kiddo singing lingers on my mind for weeks!!!

Anyway, Hard Rock Cafe food is a great disappointment. The Buffalo wings are too sour. The nachos cheese was arghhh.. everything stick together, cold and hard cheese... sigh.. My first try of Long island tea there makes me dun feel like having Long Island Tea again.

Nigel's cocktail tasted like Wood's cough syrup! Our conclusion was, their cocktails sux to the max!

Pq's 25th birthday

Celebrated qiqi's birthday last Friday. I am the organizer!!! N how i hate that.. lol.. i hate it when people take forever to reply.. my motto is always easy, u want to come u come, u dunwan to come then juz say so.. Coz, I have agreed with qiqi, if no one come then the 2 of us will go paint the town red.

Anyway, everyone is coming.  The birthday girl, nigel n me meet first.. I set the time at 6.30pm.. as usual.. no one will turn up on time. So qiqi n me go Sakae eat sushi.while nigel go MIA(go buy cake). Jo was the first 1 to turn up. so we happily eat till 7.30pm before walking to timbre and everyone suddenly appears there.. lz fly kite last min.. so disappointing coz she's the first 1 to reply me when i send out the sms. 


Many ppl celebrating birthday tat night... Overall the place is not bad but i find the seating arrangement real bad coz its real cramped.. Food is not bad, drinks not bad... price average

Round 3 

It's been a busy week

Time flies. I have been busy the whole week, in fact the week before.
Tenders and GPOs.. my cause of buzziness.. LOL... well, I have been lazing for real long and its time to really do some work. However I do hate it when I am disturbed while I am in the midst of something. This always happen to me. I have lotsa uncompleted job. Now my table is like a dump site.. its so messy.. haiz...
I tried my best to clear everything but well, haha.. the work never end, thus, the mess never ends..

Lots of commissioning... I do not know why the equipments never break down when I am super duper free. They prefer to join in the fun i guess. The prefer to make me run around, rush around like a mad woman!

I think the numerous calls from my users are causing my mood swings.. They are very very long winded and sometime i reli wish to hang up on them. Why can't they talk to me later or summarize everything when i told them I am busy?? Huh... cannot understand them.. really... and they really do need to spare me with the unnecessary details. I really do not have time to entertain that.

Yesterday, 1 of them called again during fire drill. It's a very simple thing. The solution is to get the HA to send it down to me. But she need to tell me this 1 spoilt, the other 1 ok, so how? dun dare to use, bla bla bla... the called took 15 mins. Think its longer than the time i take to repair the thing. And the best thing is my reply. I told her, 'there's a fire drill at my place and i need to run for my life!' Well. despite the alarm is ringing my ears off, killing my eardrum, she insisted on telling me the problem, even though i told her, juz send it to me and i'll get it repaired... ooh dear.. ooh dear..

Anyway, will be away from work for 3 days.. on training.. at first very delighted coz i thought the venue is AMK. However, it turn out to be at Jurong... Oooh my tian!!! it's so far. So i gotta wake up exactly the same time cannot slp 15 mins more... haiz.. n i gotta travel for more than 1 hour for 3 days... isshh..

Updates

I just realize that I have not update my blog for long long time.

Well something happened and well my life is kind of different now. I lost weight, it makes me happy, then i gain them back.. bleah...

Do I want to talk bout what happened to me? Well, I am lazy and do not wish to talk bout it anymore.
Anyway, some people realize the change in me before i say anything but some people cannot believe what happened.

I may be silly, may be too soft-hearted... well, I am trying to be a vicious person now. That will be my resolution for this year and I got only a few months left for me to become a vicious woman. LOL!

My friends and siblings have been supportive. Thank you. Many times I wondered whether I made the right decision. People around me affirm that I made the right decision and make me feel better.

Well, it's a boring post I know.. so I am going to insert some of the picture taken last friday at TGIF. Nice foodie with nice pals... i love red wine and steak.. perfect combination..

Party weekend

I am sick since Thursday but it did not affect the fact that I am going to party my weekend away.
The party weekend started on Friday... Went to JB around 8+ reached City square around 9pm++ sad to say my sis got no time to come pick me up.. Well, as I always treat my fren well, they treat me well too. Kelly rush all the way from Sutera Mall to City Square, and send me to the hotel to meet my sis. (her mom said she juz wanna drive her new car).

After lying awhile in the room, we were on our way to de Bali. Kevin's cousin joined us. Was shocked when gie gie told us that he was bout 35 years old.. he looks like 18 years old.

Can't get into mood, juz drink and drink. The dicey game did help abit though.. guess i am still not feeling real well at that point of time.


We lefr de Bali around 1pm... WE continue partying at Platinum.
The place was freaking cold. Brr.... and suddenly i saw 12 bottles of beer when i come out from the toilet.


We were like, ooh no.. how are we going to finish this.. then after some game, we still manage to finish it with some 'act cute' element in it



I go to sleep once i reach the room.. K.O.. too tired as i was not able to sleep a wink the night before despite being sick. Woke up next morning with a bad runny nose. Ate some medicine, go back to sleep, wake up gastric, vomit my gallbladder out(exaggerating) and go back to sleep till 1pm.

Go have our lunch before we head back to BP..

Attended Presley's full moon party at night. REally don understand why those guys were so shock to see me... they claimed that i lose lotsa weight but well, they have not seen me for almost a year. After the party I go lim teh with zynn while the Ng family go sing K.
I did not realise that i was actually shouting the whole night till the next morning. I woke up feeling my throat itching like hell... only to discover i shouted the whole night coz Station 1 is juz too noisy and its not a good place to chat.

I am not able to sleep again on SAt night as dad n oric is snoring happily. In the end I go sleep in the hall.

Go perm my hair in the afternoon. Talk cock with zynn n yc for almost 2 hours before getting my hair done. So basically, I am at the saloon for 4.5 hours.. Phew.. have dinner with dad before going to zynn's house to doll myself up(coz i never bring my foundation back).

There's no more available seats at Seven so we went Me Pub.. boring place I must say but well, our self-entertaining skills are superb.. Seems like we were the most happening table that night..




hmm.. it was fun but kelly's got bruise all over the next day

Monday, back to reality, going back to sg... and... our car dieded 1.5km away from Skudai toll coz we are too stubborn to stop n pump petrol.. haha.. speechless!
