The tale of the Ah Neh!

So this is the tale of the Ah Neh! Sometimes i do wonder whether muz they behave like this?? No..not trying to be racist. i can be very good with the more normals 1..


It was another day after working. The train will be cramp. The train took exceptionally long to reach... very unusual. So by the time i board the train at Outram, the train is kinda crowded. When it reaches Tanjung Pagar, lots of people tried to squeeze in. It is really, really packed. I was already glued to everyone beside me. Luckily everyone beside me is office lady so they do not stink. Then there is this 5 ah neh who tried to squeeze in. 3 of them manage to squeeze in but 1 of them was stuck coz the door was closing. The door sense the Ah neh and re-opens. This ah neh faster squeeze in and pulled in his other frens as well.. causing everyone in the cabin breathless... squeezed to the max!!! At Raffles Place, they simply blocked more than half of the door. stupid them... can't they juz go out n let all of us out first? one auntie couldn't stand them n scold at them.. sigh.. ah neh.. u like body contact but we do not like to have any body contact with u!!!!

My food filled weekend

Last weekend, there's 2 food and beverage fair held in 2 different places. 1 in Suntec Convention Centre and the other in Singapore Expo.

I went to the Suntec 1 on Saturday after work. Haiz.. nothing very appealing.... did not buy much tidbits as well.
Walked around Suntec after the food fair and found out there's a BBQ Steamboat at the rooftop garden which is worth a try. It's $13.90++ on weekdays and it is something like Seoul Garden! Will give it a try some other day. Wanna try the Turkish restaurant next to it as well... I MUST REMEMBER THIS 2 PLACES!!!!

On sunday, I went to Nicole's place to collect my belongings. After that i went to Expo for the food fair.. It is miserably small compared to last year and it is not as crowded as last year. Think recession has big impact on food but not on branded goods coz all the branded sales have long long queues... Burberry's got super long queue when i tried to go see see look look few weeks ago.. However the queue dampened my mood. After food fair i went to adidas sale! Guess what, the hall is almost empty.. but i manage to catch hold of a pair of shoes which happens to be my size.. left on the empty shelves in the middle of the hall.. lucky me!
I heard from my colleague that there is already a super long queue on saturday around 10am when the doors open at 11am!!!! Gosh!!! singaporeans really do love to queue!!!
After adidas, i went to Robinson sales! Once again, the crowd is terrible but still manageable..the Esprit area is a disaster.. I juz grab 2 pants of my size and move on coz they are for my work n i dun reli give a damn how nice i will look in it.. And usually Esprit pants fits me well!

So this is how i spent my weekend... food and shopping.. so no more shopping for me I hope!..
Robinson sale is still going on at hall 4 or 6.. it is next to hall 5 but i dunno its a 4 or 6.. hehe.. some real good bargain tat i saw, Salvatore Incanto perfume 100ml for $15. dirt cheap!!!

Another Day in the Gym

Finally i go to the gym after i have missed my usual gym routine for almost a week
I must blame my runny nose for it. Uncle George has termed runny nose as 'pao bi zi' in mandarin... hahaha..

Case 1
There's this funny auntie in the gym. She always carry her umbrella, handbag and a big bag consisting her shoes down to the gym floor instead of keeping them in the lockers. She usually go there to chat rather than workout.
I was doing my cardio when she is getting ready to use the recumbent bike. Before starting, she took out a can of Japanese peach soda from her bag! who on earth take this kind of drink during workout. Then she set everything and start pedalling, she starts a convesrsation with the lady next to her and then she stop pedalling so the bicycle go into standby mode. She gives a shriek coz she needs to re-program it again.. she shriek for 5 times coz she stop pedalling to drink, to talk, etc... think the lady beside her cannot stand her and left several mins later.

Case 2
I thought i met a ghost!!! After my shower, i will need to pass through the steam room to get to the locker. There is this fat auntie who stood in the middle of the steam room, starring out of the glass door.. My first glance of her was like.. GHOST!!! coz steam room is steamy so it makes her blurrish juz like a ghost.. juz tat this ghost is FAT!

Many many funny encounter in the gym.. A very interesting place if you pay attention to you surroundings. Please do visit the gym if you are real bored!

Sam's Wedding

After reading Angie's post, I got the urge to just copy n paste her post here. But... I scared she sue me gor plagiarism!


I really salute Sam!! She did so many last minute stuff till she got no time to sleep and yet she can party the whole day and night.
WE were very much busy like her as well. We finally manage to catch a nap around 2am++.
She already have not much time to sleep yet she is still so talkative. She has to get up at 3am for her 'face painting' procedure. Poor her coz none of her sis is there with her. All of us are sound asleep.

She wake rach up at 6am but rach continued to sleep. I pity her so I woke up to help her with the preparation. She kept commenting that she will be the only bride who still need to tidy up the place when she is already in her gown!

Then back to grandma's place for tea ceremony. Very different from the tea ceremony at the groom's place coz its a bit rowdy n noisy here.



Finally, back home, n all of us K.O... sleep soundly till 5pm++

Woke up, get ready for dinner.

This Rach suppose to help Sam in everything coz she is the maid of honor.. but ends up me doing everything... ishhh...

I was mistaken as the bride by some ppl.. And they comment; 'y she wear until like that?'

My papa is very happy!!

After the dinner we went Me Pub followed by 2000 followed by supper at "Hong Ye'

What a tiring day!!!

Cheapo Steamboat

Vexed at work. Many people called me, talked to me. All very long winded.
My head is getting heavier by the minute. I need a breather. I hate it when people talk to me this way.

I end up spoiling my diet plan due to my foul mood.
My seafood spaghetti turned out to be bolognaise.. coz i eat at coffee shop so I did not make a fuss over it. Anyway, it tasted alright and the price is still reasonable.

Finally i manage to get thru the afternoon. Phew!
I can help it but i crave for steamboat yet i do not feel like eating much.
The cheapest place that I can think of is the Steamboat at Ang Mo Kio, the 1 at the same coffee shop with the famous curry puff.

The steamboat is $12 per person. Erm.. doesn't seem very hygienic to me. Well, it doesn't really matter to me coz i got high immunity to this kind of situation. Blueh... think i got more than 5 times food poisoning experience in my life. Anyway, the food selection is very limited. I still prefer the Haozhoudao steamboat on top of This Fashion at Ang Mo Kio.

As there is nothing much to choose from, i set my eyes on the prawns and cockles only. Think i the amount of cockles i eat is enough to cook 10 bowls of laksa.
Shit! I m going to get Hep B!!!

Tiring Wednesday!

Its Wednesday and I am tired.
No I did not go for Ladies Night.
More work today, more confusion.
Need to make more phone calls to ask for this and that.
Expensive parts, repair cost, everything is giving me a headache!

I feel so weak now.. But still need to go to gym cause I should not slack!
I must turn my flabs into muscles!

oops... foul mouth

Was walking towards the railway station for lunch today.
Usually we will take a shortcut down the slope. But earlier on it just rain, so it makes everything very slippery.
So I told my colleague in a very doubting way

"Don't tell me you guys wanna take the short cut. Later you will fall to your death''.

He later look at his feet then to mine. Then he replied

"Think you are the one who is going to fall to your death".

Right after he finish his sentence.. He slipped and almost fell... wahhaa.. wad a foul mouth he have!

Being the very bad me... My first instinct is.. wah.. spot on man! Give me 4 numbers!
