Road Trip Dec 2010 Part 1

*Some smart aleck help me complete the entry below!*

All of a sudden, I realise that I have 2 days of annual leave to clear. Really have no-eye-dear on what to do. Casually mention to the whole bunch of Batu kia in one of the outings at East Coast.


In the next few days, Richard text stating he also have 2 days wors. Got so coincident or not wor. Dun care... since got chance to invoke my princess rights, force him to plan something la. But he try to be atas la… so the suggestion tat came out was way out budget… RM1,000++ siau 1 la…



Location wise recommended was Pangkor Laut, Penang, Taiping, Ipoh, Cameron Highlands and Langkawi. East Coast was out of the picture with the monsoon in mind. Recently papers also got a few scary stories travelling out on boat in East Coast, I shall not go into details.


While trying to maximize the trip, I was assigned to “recruit solider, buy horses”. Final number I got, zero… no 1 can get leave at such short notice. Summore he give me a fixed date… coz his schedule also pack like hell… here there and everywhere


Slowly one by one he comes out with excuse on the location he recommended, too far la… drive too long la… nothing to see. What wuz left is Cameron Highlands, and Pangkor coz I nvr been to both places mar. Kenot decide which to do … he say do both la… damn ambitious… maybe ego… I dun know. I think he started to stress from that moment… coz he commit liau mar… plus I think he kinda stress-a-holic person la… abit abit stress. Haiya… relaks la brudder!!!



5 days before ops cuti-cuti Malaysia… he call me, asking budget… I gave him… and ask can get place 2 stay ar??? If tak jadi plan B is all expense on him… or did I just gave him more stress… dun care not my prob. He call on Monday, I meeting… wat 2 call him bek… but he txt say lodging kautim… later tat nite, check mail… itinerary damn complete lor… 1st time I go trip dun need 2 research… haha… this is call princess power… and I sibeh excited.



Here comes Friday, no time to pack… simply taruh la. Then take half day go KL… reach there too early… go 1U, kena poison… bought shoes… kenot fight the poison and hungry… call n chase him out of work… dun know wat stupid direction he give la… tried to call him again from roadside... kena horn by idiot behind me… barldy hell, is Richard’s car. Parked my car in his place and he suppose to collect dobi… but kena by his dobi, coz not open… end up need to go Giant and get everything new *wink wink*.



Rush off makan at Kota Damansara.. reach there, he intro his frens from work… then suddenly he got call, go out and bring a leng lui in, intro as bf’s wife… and later his bf really came along… me intro-ed as brudder. Seriously…he has a complicated relationship. *sigh*. After makan go drink at Bola… then meet up with Angie drink again… then lights out… tomorrow is where the journey begins.

Updates!

It's been a long time since I last updated.
Hmm.. Starting to get used to my new job. Interesting n yet tiring.
Attended my very first oversea training...my first time flying via SQ... The air ticket is about $500. So expensive.

Went Wine Fiesta before flying to Bangkok. Drink n drink n drink.. But I did not get drunk. Slept a little then it's time to go airport! *Yawns*
had breakfast before boarding. So once I hit the aircraft, I turn on my ZzZzz mode. Actually I juz kept my eyes closed but I m not asleep. Once we reach Bangkok, we check-in then off we went to Chatuchak! Shop shop shop!!!

After shopping, went back to the hotel, freshen up a bit before massage n more shopping not to forget dinner...the fish maw soup is yummy!
Spend the following 3 days in Bkk in this manner;
buffet breakfast, training, teabreak, training, buffet lunch, tea break, training, dinner followed by boozie booze at sleazy bar!!!
Ate alot.... Oh dear , wad happened to my diet plan!!!

Goddamn I m reli very fat!!!

A week on Standby

Been doing post sales service for the whole week.
Am on standby the whole week at OB/GY clinics.I am so so tired..
I am on standby from 8.15am till 7-8pm everyda


I learned alot during this period, in terms of work and some other stuff.
The expression on the parents to be are priceless. I see the joy, some almost cried when the doctor tell them,'here is the baby's head.
I've seen cases where they are so worried coz they suffer multiple miscarriage. sad~
and i've seen the father to be giving the mother to be the engagement ring in the clinic(the doctor said its her first experience too).


For gynecology, i seen the worried face of the patients who have myoma in their uterus. sad sad sad...


I also assist in endoscopy cases where the doctor also do transrectal ultrasound.. The case is gross. Tumors in the colon... blood everywhere.. Hmm.. I don think i wanna fall sick.. i rather die i guess...


I did a scan on myself last week... n guess wad? I have polyps in my gallbladder.. not good not good... its 0.6cm. n I should be worried if they grow larger...so i don't give a damn now.. in fact i go save the images on my thumbdrive.. don't think everyone will understand the image if i posted it here. LOL!


Hopefully, all the post sales will be finish by next week. I am so tired.. I m rather keen on doing new sales now.. Even though i am practically sitting or rather, standing everyday... i feel like i did alot of strenous job.. my shoulder aches like hell everyday from the amount of standing and assisting from the side (starring at the screen from left side!! whole day)


Next week, more post sales and exhibition... n then.. i hope to get some rest.. it's saturday today and i worked in the morning.. Thank god i have a kind boss who offered to standby for tomorrow and i can have a full day rest!


n for now.. i pray my migraine will be gone and away in 5 minutes time!

I m so fat!!

Been indulging alot lately.. Shit.. I m so fat!!!
I need to lose weight desperately... coz.. i got a wedding dinner to attend. I wanna look good!
I m going back to fish soup! no carbo... god, please gimme back my discipline! thank you very much!

LAst day of AUGUST

Phew time flies.. I have not been blogging after i changed job.

Hmm... I am slowly adapting to current lifestyle..
The first 3 weeks of work is kinda torturing coz the journey via public transport is a killer.. It took me 1.5 hours of travelling time.. walking alot on heels are no joke.

So, the aggresive me(my boss said i m aggresive) went carmart, look around n ta-dah, my car is out in a week time.. which is real fast.. i m a real fast decision maker!

Slowly, there's more work to be done, some late nite and i appreciate all that. Rather than me doing nothing n go around boozing! LOL! I don't have much money for booze..

I am happier compared to last month... y? I do not know why. Still trying to manage my financial problem.. when everything stabilizes.. I m going to make my lifestyle real different..

I am thinking of taking up Muay Thai.. awww.. i miss kick fit so so so much!

I wanna ask frens out more... i wanna do so many things!

but... i shall have to bear with staying at home now.. coz stay at home= dun spend money!

First Week of July

I quit my job at SGH.

Mom's death annivesary
Bought the stuff the day before alone. Then bought more with dad, eric n Rachel. The next day, I woke up, finding Eric still wide awake. Think this is the first time someone go buy the stuff in the morning and i love it..love the family feel~After the prayer, get ready and off to KL with Pa, Rach and Eric.

Went for another short breakaway at KL.
The journey to KL was torturous. First of all I am sleep deprived. Slept only 4-5 hours the day before. Next, the horrible weather. Third, I got a nagging dad by my side who is controlling my speed. Lastly, two snoring sibling behind me who really irks me coz I wanna sleep too!
I was so so tired upon reaching kl. Went for seafood dinner at USJ 5, Rach's recommendation. Food is nice but abit too salty. After dinner, we went Damansara for some kopi n soccer! The match was BORING! So i played with my fon instead. All of us balik rumah after first half.

Went out with Richard for a movie at KLCC the next day... Knight and Day is hillarious! The movie ended around 5pm+. So he look and me and asked, you have 2 options, 1: Get stuck in the jam! 2: Happy Hour!
I don have to think and replied Happy hour. Each of us had 3 pints of Kilkenny when our initial plan was to share 3 pints among the 2 of us. LOL! Next, we ate bak kut teh serve by the ah neh... hmm.. ah neh selling bak kut teh.. funny..  Back home to find papa sleeping.. We woke him up to go for lim teh session.. Haha.. wad a filial kid! LOL!

3rd day in KL... Wake up, go buy breakie for us. Then its shopping time. Drove alone to KL. Traffic was a killer.. n i did make a few wrong turn. Stupid me. Did not manage to buy alot. Then angie called and asked me to meet her at mid valley. Make another wrong turn again.. Damn.. Finally, manage to meet her there but i did not manage to buy anything as dad looks pretty bored.
Drove papa back home, then Richard come pick me up for dinner at TGIF. After dinner met Bryan, terence, Samantha and Tek Tsien for some boozie.. Another crazee night and I love it!

Last day in KL, angie come back home pretty early. Bring us out for some lunch with rach. Then we went Bangsar coz I wanna go Cat Whisker -->my objective of KL trip.. once again papa got real bored so he went to a kopitiam, while angie and eric sat at paparich! After shopping its time to balik kampung!

Back to Singapore on Saturday. Back to reality! Start new job on Monday. Visiting different hospitals everyday.. Walked in heels can be real torturing..
So i end up buying 5 pairs of heels in a week.

The Change in me

Many people advised me on certain things.. N i realise i somehow did change here n that..
Health is deteriorating due to my drinking habits.. not a good thing.. frequent gastric attack woke me up somehow n yet, I do not know how to reject drinks...

There's something troubling me very very much that causes all these... I somehow loves the way it feels when i am half drunk, slightly sober and still know what is happening around me. I am able to forget my problems at this stage, for a short period of time..
I used to keep everything to myself.. putting on a strong front.. but i realise, recently, I m opening up myself to people... telling them my stuff that I would never tell anyone.. This is not me.. and i do not like to share my woes with others.. I love my old self.. the strong, and happy me.. not the girl with a lot of problems... I wan my old self back!



Was discussing with CT bout life during our journey back BP... and we came to a conclusion.. I seems to be over-independent! izzit good or bad? I reli dunno. Sometimes I really wish to be like some of my frens.. always ready to  rely on others... but.. this is not ME! Arrggghhh.. I hate growing up.. can i turn back time? maybe i should grow up in a different way?

My life seems to be getting nowhere.. this minute I am pretty clear of what I want in life, n I m lost the next... is this what we call LIFE? most probably i am having my down time, my transition period.. n i call it.. 'back to square one!'

Lastly, I hate Pasir Ris!!!!!

My Diet is going out of control!!!

Today is the 2nd last day of work.. Last Friday I ate cheese prata @ Kampung Bahru Road coz I know i will miss the place.

Monday I ate economic noodle coz I will miss it too plus its been long since i last eat that due to my diet..
Today, I ate French toast at Kopitiam.. haiz. I will really miss Outram campus.

Had another gastric attack after tea break..
Was contemplating whether to go gym or not. Force myself to go coz I know my diet will go haywire next week.
I am hating Novena California Fitness more n more. Equipment down, making squeaking sounds. Got lots of members with BO that almost make me vomit. N the shower room stinks! So, after shower, I went down to the reception and terminate my membership... hahahaha..

Met Alvin after gym.. once again.. kena force to eat. I ordered my meal n he go order soup for me saying it's good for gastric.. very sweet of him but he is really tryin to make me fat..

hmm.. tomorrow.. farewell breakie, lunch n dinner.. oooh noooo...

Fun-filled Friday+Saturday+Sunday

I m living my life to the fullest.

Do not want to spend my friday in a dull way, I got Nigel to call people out for dinner and K-session.
I was very very tired on Friday, hmm.. what did i do the night before?

Almost fall asleep at work.. Drag myself to Central after work.. Walked around while waiting for the rest to come.  There's an interesting shop in Central but I did not buy anything. Went to queue for Santouka Ramen.. Long long queue.. poor Nigel offered to queue while me n 3sa continue shopping.. 3sa sat at the side while i go browse thru some of the shop.. Nigel was still queuing when I come back.. poor him.. he queued for 1 hour for that Ramen... sigh...

After dinner, we slowly walked to Liang court for our K-session.. I was very very full.. n I can't reli sing that night... Richard called me asking me to join him @ St. James.. den Ruiyin called me and we had another long chat.. what a bz night.. end the night around 1am+ 

Woke up around 11am on Sat... Zynn the blur sotong got lost again.. sigh.. I dunno when this woman can remember the route to my place.. Anyway, i m moving soon.. she also don have to remember.

First thing that we do upon reaching is to grab some food... I m famished.. Ordered a high tea set at TCC...

And the two of us cannot finish a set..wahahaha..

Our shopping starts from Isetan... both of us saw few bags to our liking but we curb the urge from buying(we are too poor to buy... cannot splurge!) then off to Far East. WE started combing level 2... and gosh.. we spent 3 hours combing 1 level.. tired tired.. We bought some rubbish stuff.. and i put it on straightaway.. hahaha..

I was so afraid that I won't be able to get anything on this shopping spree.. Luckily i manage to find a dress to my liking (well, it makes me look thin!) LOL!!!

Both of us ran out of fuel by 7pm++.. go get the car n off for dinner at Whampoa market. Had Fish head steamboat coz the cha bor never try before.. ordered prawn roll for her to try as well..

hmm.. I love my frens..

After dinner, go home, rest while waiting for Richard call. Was getting abit lazy by 10.30pm and was wondering whether I should go Butterfactory or not.
He sms-ed me before I make up my mind not to go.. he is so god damn lucky.. Took a cab down and was introduce to another 5 guys.. till date i can only remember 2 names.. LOL!
Partied like crazy, got home around 5am... tired.. I slept with the camera hanging on my neck..

Hangover again the next day!!! Argghh.. wake up vomit, go back to sleep.. Wake up, get ready and went down to Vivo to meet Alvin..

Had dinner cum breakfast cum lunch there.. Then off we went to a small KTV pub at Kampung Bahru Road.. N he insisted me to sing a song.. Met some new friends there.. very friendly lady.. play a round of pool with her and i sux to the max! It's dessert time after beer. Went Coffee club at TCC for a Mud Pie!! There goes my diet... a trainer asking me to eat dessert in the middle of the night.. wahkaoz...

We sat there, chat till almost 2am... and now.. I m feeling extremely sleepy at work.. n in fact.. i got nothing to do..

Early Father's Day Celebration

The day is finally here after much planning from everyone at a different location.

Some hiccups and I have to take coach back.
Luck was not with me.The earliest bus available is 3.30pm. So, I called Sam and decided to hitch a ride from her.
Went for lunch with her before our journey.. As usual, she can be real slow. i have a mission to be done and it actually fails due to her slowness.
After much delay, we started our journey around 5pm. Angie and Rachel's got inpatient. Lotsa phone calls during the journey and its very exciting.

Plan A- I bring papa for a massage while they get everything done at grandma place --->Fail coz i reach    kinda late.

Plan B - Lie to papa i forgot to bring key. Ask him to go home and wait for me. Called him while I am at Ayer Hitam.. After that call, start thinking another lie coz he surely will call me sooner or later.
Atlas, reached BP.. Go get my car from Eric, drove home.. while they go grandma place to prepare. Told dad i got stomache, hide inside toilet, said my face oily, need to clean it up abit, leg itchy from sand flies bite.. really out of excuses.. atlas... got the green light from them... This time round, another lie.. lied to him that gotta pick Eric from grandma place coz he wanna join us for dinner.. --->succeeded!


Upon reaching grandma place, dad was puzzled to see so many cars there. He do not understand the purpose of the BBQ.
We did not say anything.. he is still puzzled.. everyone walked away without giving him an answer.
In the end, er su told him it's an early father's day celebration.. I saw my dad wiping his tears away.. He is getting more n more emo nowadays.. Glad that he is happy...


Yi Shia and family joined us.. Poor ah qi.. he is like the BBQ-man tat night...

Lotsa gossip, jokes exchange among the family together with uncle and aunties.. Haha.. Margaret actually chase after eric like a teenage girl.. I love my family!

I cabut around 10pm to meet jen, CT, n YC at Penthouse. Jen was trying very hard to promote the new drink before i settle down and my reply was, Erdinger Dunkel, yes,.... I always drink that in Singapore.. wahahahhaha... 

12am, rushed to hoe soon to join my dad n gang. Kevin joined us too.. eat again.. LOL.. macam hungry ghost.. 

End the night with a mini MOET!

Papa fall asleep soon he hit the bed... Rachel and me talked non-stop like we never meet for years! Sam got jealous n kept asking us to shut up! 

Next morning we woke up at 9am to have breakfast with papa.. But our papa was hungry n had his own breakfast already. So the 3 of us went for breakfast together. Bought Ah pui mee and have it at John's coffee shop! After breakfast, we went for a hair wash.. The shampoo girl there was kinda irritating and we r not going there again. 

After hair wash, go home, pack my stuff, back to reality..

The Ups and Downs

Life is full of up and down.

I am living a life like this. 

Sometimes I feel everything's right, I have everything I want and wished for, but the next moment it will be gone.

Sometimes I enjoy a company or two and sometimes i yearn for a few hours of quiet solitude.

Perhaps, the changes I will be facing soon is causing an unknown stress and fear in me. 

I do not know. 

Nigel's 25th Birthday

Rushed back from Tioman to celebrate Nigel's birthday. Was uber tired and almost fall asleep on my way there.

Meet them at Marche. Some of them not done with their dinner coz lotsa latecomers that night! Sigh~
I get myself a cream of asparagus as dinner. 

After being delyaed for real long ( i do not want to put up a sulky face n spoil nigel's' day) we move over to Dragonfly.

Got a shitty table at a shitty place. Ordered drinks and start toasting to nigel~
Andy and Nix joined us later followed by Bryan and Sharon.
Objective of the day is to make Nigel drunk!Everyone toast Nigel.

We changed table before the clock strikes 12. Continue our mission of making Nigel chui.
And he really chui! Ok.. i also chui~

Tioman Trip June 2010

Started our Journey to Mersing @ 6.45am.
After some long and winding road we finally reach the jetty.

The ferry ride took about 2 hours n we r finally at Paya beach.

 The guys really know how to entertain themselves!

Check in, settle down, search for food to satisfy our growling tummy!

It's free and easy for the rest of the day, so we changed, n start boozing...+some beach activities...
