Going for my first holiday of 2010

It's a brand new year!
Lotsa changes, lotsa uncertainty...
I still got lotsa thoughts to clear.. Need to clear my mind..

So in order to relax my mind before torturing them, filling them up with more thoughts, I am going to unwind abit..

will be going to Macau tomorrow... funny.. not much excitement till now! Most probably its due to my sickness. Been sick for more than a week and I m still not well after 3 visits to the clinic! Damn!

Anyway, I need to go for my boozing session now.. Ciao!

Pre-Christmas Dinner

Everyone will have their own activities during Christmas, so the kaki convent kat Singapore had an early Christmas celebration.

We decided on Chilli's long long ago but well, they don't allow us to make any reservation. I reached there first and I went to queue but I was told that I need to wait for an hour!!! WTH!!! As the rest are on their way to Tanglin Mall, I asked the to check out Modesto's. Luckily seats are available.

There's a cocky waitress there.. Very cocky indeed but i must say she got real good memory. She remembered everything we ordered without writing it down.

The service give to us is very very different compare to the ang moh table behind.. Damn.. As if we will not pay them like that.. so dissapointing..

Everyone was very hungry.. No one serves us the bread like how an Italian restaurant should do. Miss Kok gotta as the waiter in a sarcastic way in order to get the bread served.

Anyway, Miss Kok is so sweet.. She prepared gift for everyone.. and, we can get crazy with the gift as there's a parkinson and 1 mental participants tat night...

 We end the night by having a discussion on our next chalet at Wheelock place. This is a discussion with no conclusion as per normal..

After the crazy nite its time to go home n sleep and go to work the next day.. yes.. i need to work on Saturday!!!

Break The Glass, Spill The drinks!!

As I will be away from town during Christmas, I ask daddy, qi n nigel out for a pre-christmas dinner. Well, actually it's juz an excuse for us to come out and chill and get crazy. 3sa n Lz joined us as well. Went for dinner at Aston to fill our stomach. Haha.. wine there is real cheap.. LOL!

 

The steak was a dissapointment. Well, I cannot complain much with the price i paid for it.

After dinner, we went to Stereolounge at Pan Pacific.

 

We were the only guests there but subsequently some other people patronize the place. Pathetic.. Think they will close down real soon.

We were still in time for Happy Hour! So I ordered a Pinot Noir, Buy 1 free 1...

Nigel's Long Island Tea taste like very expensive Ice Lemon Tea.

 

Daddy ordered some cough syrup...

Kelly and Yin seems exhausted from their work and stuff.. Think they need a real break..
The initial plan was to go Cameron Highland since all of us never been there before.. The kns Tee Sze Yin cannot make it plus the bad weather changed our plan.

In the end, we decide to go Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan. Our destination this time is PEnang!

I never been to PEnang for bout 9 years... gosh.. tat's so long..

I work half day on Thursday, then I went to JB to meet Kel.. Had lunch at Kim Gary City Square.. They got tons of form for you to choose from in order to order your food..Dunno who the hell came up with this stupid idea.. Think this will refrain me from going there again.. coz finding the correct form for our order is a real torture. We need to fill up 3 forms to get out lunch!

This Kel is a workaholic... She work non-stop from JB to KL... Even in the car...

I literally drive in silence coz she off the radio as she needs to talk on the phone.. To make thing worse.. heavy rain!

We stopped at Pagoh coz I need to Pee..Then Kelly take over the wheels for awhile.. We stop at Melaka again coz Kel need to charge up her laptop. So we stop at Ayer Keroh and grab something at A&W... cannot stand with the people who work there.. slow like hell.. and pretend not to see u when you are standing right in front of the counter..

Finally reached KL.. found my way to PGRM perfectly.. lol.. The pengganas Yin drove ganas-ly to her shop while i followed her ganas-ly behind...

Our first stop of the day is Rui yin's shop... Kelly tried lotsa frames.. I got nothing better to do I tried some on as well.. I fell in love with the Armani.. but well.. I shouldn't waste my money on something that I don't need...

Went Gasoline at Lookoutpoint for dinner with Jackie later on.

The food @ Gasoline is edible but nothing fantastic.. price is reasonable.. but their steak is a great dissapointment.. erm... with that price i don't think i will be able to get nice steak also.. So... 'mai hiam buay pai'.

After our dinner cum supper, we went to yin's house to sleep..

Wake up as early as 6am the next day. Get ready for our journey.. and some power breakfast is a must to fuel me up for the rest of the day.

After breakfast, it's time for the long long journey to Penang.. I am just like a princess, enjoying the view from the rear seats while poor yin n kel took turns to drive..

 Finally we reach Penang...WE start our day by attacking some local food at a kopitiam that none of us know the name.. Food there is yummy and cheap.. Thanks to Kel's fren recommendation.

Saw Ah neh frying muruku with fresh oil.. so i bought a packet back.. nice but well it will be even nicer if the spice taste are stronger.. but kel like it tat way.

After eating we check in to our hotel. We opted for 2 single bed at the first place but when we reach our room, we cannot figure out the sleeping arrangement so we asked for a change of room.

The arrangement took more than an hour and I fell asleep while waiting. Yin fell asleep too.. only the hardworking Kel, continue working..

Was disappointed with Trader's Hotel coz I need to call 4 times to make them work. Actually they did not process my request at all. Only till the 4th called, I sounded frustrated telling them I will stick to my room, slam the phone and this get them working. I receive a call 5 minutes after slamming my phone telling me the room is ready.. sigh.. please.. i don't like to scold people...

After our small nap, we proceed to Starbucks for some coffee.. my poison my antidote…. Yin did something naughty there and she rewarded herself a mug! Ahem… haha.. LOLZ

After coffee, met up with Gie and Kev for dinner. Went to Northam food court for dinner recommended by Sam… Once again, it failed us.. Her recommendation always.. ar.. haiz..

We went to somewhere else for our 2^nd round.. The Lala was good! The BBQ crab was yummy as well.. but I am real full.

After dinner, we drove all the way to Batu Ferringhi coz I wanna take a peek at Hard Rock Hotel. Nice environment. The first thing I go there was to leave my mark there.. go TOILET!!! LOLZ

Ended the night by boozing at Soi…

The transvestites from Thailand are very entertaining. My entertainment for the night..

 The jockey parking at the Esso was ridiculous.. RM20..

Next morning, had dim sum with kel fren. Cheap and good.

Next its time to make time to be touristy. Bought tao sa piar and stuff back home! Some shops are selling the same thing at double the price of the first shop I went. I think the first shop is called Him Heang or something similar..

Back to KL.. famished.. drove to jen's house and hurry the whole world for dinner.

Wanted to go Opus Bistro at Bangsar but full house. So we end up at so Leonardo's

Got a hangover the next day and it's time to go home.. Stopped by Melaka for lunch before returning to reality.
